Frank Wells, the housd CEO, is a lifelong entrepreneur, founding several successful businesses, including World Power & Water, which developed technology for infrastructure-scale ocean-based production of electricity and clean water and raised over $100,000,000 in project funding commitments, and the Venture House social enterprise project, creating low-cost housing options to attract and retain entrepreneurs, artists, and social innovators while improving target neighborhoods and creating jobs and community impact. Frank currently serves as President and Chief Impact Officer for Bright Community Trust, solving the critical need for good, safe, healthy homes within financial reach for every individual and family across Florida, and most recently led Bright’s work to set up housd, the Central Florida regional housing trust.

Hannah Keen

Executive Assistant to the CEO, housd


Hannah graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2018 with a Bachelor’s in International and Global Studies and has worked in the non-profit sector ever since. She has specialized a number of social issues including homelessness, panhandling, the opioid crisis, and now affordable housing. Throughout her career, she has overseen internship programs, launch events, and office management. Hannah holds a Certificate in Volunteer Management from the Edyth Bush Institute and is working towards a Certificate in Nonprofit Management Essentials as well.

Renee Welch, CFO, has worked 8 years in this position with many years assuring financial success and affordability compliance for our organization. Renee is a high-energy business leader with a record of achievement in managing accounting and operations while moving up through levels of increasing responsibility in management. She is a versatile and adaptable with the proven ability to provide cross-functional leadership and engage with a wide range of stakeholders in the public and private sectors to deliver outstanding results. Renee brings a passion for ensuring the success of her organization and colleagues, in small and large company environments.

Dania Perez

Director of Client Services

Dania Perez is the Senior Housing Counselor for Bright Community Trust. She has over 10 years of experience in the housing industry. She is passionate about empowering people with knowledge. When you meet with Dania, expect an uplifting, judgment-free session, regardless of the obstacles you are experiencing as you consider or prepare for home ownership. Dania works with people to create step by step action plans to support their success with credit repair, budgeting and saving. She is highly experienced in guiding people through the decisions to assess homebuyer readiness and the purchasing process when the time is right. Dania also works with clients who are experiencing the threat of foreclosure. Her diverse knowledge of foreclosure and credit management helps current and future homeowners to be successful.

Evan Shelley

Real Estate Projects Manager

Evan Shelley began his career in Construction, using his civil engineering degree to learn the General and Site Contractor business. While pursuing this career he acquired real estate and learned more about the opportunities in the residential space. In 2018, Evan set out on his own to create a distressed residential real estate business that focused on solving problems for clients while purchasing properties. Currently, Evan is continuing to grow this company while consulting for Bright Community Trust, using his experiences in the Central Florida market to help the Trust.

Traci Blue

Director of Strategic Community Initiatives

Traci Blue, Director of Strategic Community Initiatives, Community Relations Management professional with a passion for working within the Central Florida community and 20+ years of experience in the fields of community relations, public relations, training, coaching, and management. She has spent her career serving in the fields of corporate sports management, government, and non-profit management. She has also served on several non-profit Boards of Directors in the Central Florida community.
